These are just some of the benefits of being a member of Tewantin Noosa Lions Club which is part of the world’s largest and most active service club organisation.
We pride ourselves on having fun while serving the community and some of the activities we are involved in are listed below:
- Noosa Community Festival held on Australia Day
- Noosa festival of surfing
- Car parking in Noosa Heads Lions Park – Christmas and Easter.
- Bunnings BBQ two or three times a year.
- Noosa TRI – helping Heart Smart Kids with the BBQ at the kids TRI.
- Youth of the Year annual competition.
- Walk to School – we walk kids to school – Noosaville State school each Tuesday through the school term.
- Netball associations BBQ.
- Assist with the RSL Carols at Christmas
- Participate in the ANZAC day ceremony and provide and cook food on the day
- Assist at the Trail Run.
- Assist with the annual TRI event with marshalling.
These are only some of the fantastic events that we are involved in that impact on the community in Noosa.
Social events are held throughout the year, we pride ourselves on having FUN while serving.
- Dinner meeting twice a month – First and third Tuesday at the Tewantin Noosa RSL.
- Fifth Tuesday – Drinks in the park is a fun afternoon at no cost but fantastic comradery and friendship is always well attended.
- Noosa Arts Theatre – an annual night out at the theatre.
- Naturally an Annual Christmas party is held.
- Many – many other social gatherings always well attended
